And now I can cautiously say that the illusive "Someday" could be any day in the near future. In recent years the thought of Adoption has lead me on a journey of what has seemed like a "thousand miles"...filled with anticipation, sadness, joy, frustration, rejection and exhaustion! Still I have felt possibility... because I've seen possibilities become realities.
As I have waited for "possibility" I have come to of know another who waits..."The waiting Child" Who like all of us has problems seen & unseen...who knows heartbreak & happiness and who is humbled and lives on through it all in hopes of something better.
“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
And so we cross our fingers and begin this journey with a chance of success and failure with a single step.
So touching the description you wrote--"who like all of us has problems seen and unseen..who knows heartbreak and happiness, who is humbled and lives on".....reading this makes me want to reach through the computer to this sweet girl in China.
